Available roles: 

Community Administration Manager- – 12 Month Full Time Fixed Term Contract

  • Do you have an interest in making a positive impact?

Our Community Administration Manager supports our Peer Groups and Information / Help volunteer teams, manages our Interest Peer Groups, casual employees and provides the administration support to ensure our members and the wider Aspergers autistic community have opportunities to feel they belong, share stories, make friends, learn and find information and advice that empowers them to realise their own strengths, abilities, dreams and ambitions.

Working for a small, stable and purpose driven organisation is a breath of fresh air. Aspergers Victoria (AV) has a critical role in supporting, enabling and advocating for our Aspergers autistics community. We adopted a strengths-based approach across our diverse programs spanning Minecraft, Dungeons and Dragons, Dungeon Masters, Peer & Interest Groups, Coaching and Training and Employment Support. 

Your Opportunity

We are seeking a diligent administration manager to support our members and the wider Aspergers autistic community in accessing our programs and sourcing supportive information and advice.

Day to day you will:

·       Provide customer service to our members, doners, stakeholders and in relation to enquiries. 
·       Manage bookings, databases and general program coordination.  
·       Office management including processing invoices, payments and timesheets 
·       Supporting the preparation of grants and report writing.
·       Overseeing external communications (website, social media and newsletters)
·       Organising events and promotions.
  • This is a hands-on, diverse and detailed role that will suit a planned, methodical thinker who is able to prioritise, communicate and multi-task. 

    There are times when you will need to adapt and demonstrate some flexibility to ensure programs are delivered successfully. 

    To be successful in the role you will have:

·       3+ years’ experience administering programs.
·       Strong attention to detail.
·       Good Google Suite skills.
·       Experience working in a not for profit or membership organisation is preferred. 
·       Australian Work Rights.
·       Working With Children Check.
·       National Police Check Clearence.

Ideally you will have personal or lived experience, knowledge and understanding of Autistics, Aspergers, ASC or people on the spectrum.We are an inclusive and equal opportunity employer.
