Women & Non-Binary Folk Group

Are you a woman or non-binary person aged 18 years or older who has Aspergers, is autistic, or who has another similar neurodivergent profile?

Are you looking for a group of peers who share your experience who you can meet, chat to, exchange stories, advice, and experiences, and generally have fun with?

Then our Women & Non-Binary Folk Group may be what you're looking for!

Who is this group for?

Our Women & Non-Binary Folk Group is for women and non-binary folk within the AV community.

Our group is LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and we welcome people at all stages of the assessment and diagnostic journey, including self-identified.

As this is a parent/carer-free zone, we invite any parents or carers of group attendees to join our separate Parents & Carers Group.

Please note that our peer support groups are for peers only and attendees do need to be able to participate independently in the activity without support from a parent, carer, or support worker.

When and where does this group meet?

The Women & Non-Binary Folk Group meets on the first Saturday of each month. Currently, we are only meeting online via Zoom.

What are group meetings like?

Our Women & Non-Binary Folk Group, facilitated by our Group Leader, takes the format of an informal chat group. You are welcome to join in the discussion or to listen to others as you feel comfortable. In Zoom meetings, you are welcome to have your video and microphone on or off as you feel comfortable, and you can also communicate via the Zoom chat function.
