Professional Membership application

This page will guide you through the next steps in completing your application.

How to apply for an AV Professional Membership

  • Decide which membership type best suits your situation and your needs.

    • Autism Supporter OR

    • Service Provider OR

    • Corporate Membership

  • Decide your payment / renewal type:

    • auto-renew (automatic renewal via PayPal) OR

    • one-year (manual renewal each year)

  • Select your preferred membership type in the form below, then click “Next”

  • Complete the application form

  • When the AV membership team receives your application, we will review it and contact you as soon as possible with information about the next steps.

  • All AV membership applications are subject to approval by our Board under our Rules of Association.
  • All Professional Membership applications and memberships are subject to an approval process by the AV team.
  • All Professional Membership holders must be 18 years of age or older. This is important for Child Safe reasons and is in line with AV's Commitment to Child Safety.
  • All Professional Membership applicants must provide an ABN in their application.
  • Professional Membership holders are not eligible to access member rates for peer support groups or to register for member-only interest groups.
  • We invite you to consider becoming a Personal Member in addition to your Professional Membership to access these benefits.
  • Professional Membership (including application and / or renewal) can be declined or cancelled if a business or organisation is reported to not be autism friendly. Subject to assessment by the AV team.
  • Service Provider Memberships: all submissions for the AV Professional Directory are subject to approval by the AV team.

Adding additional people to your membership

  • To add an additional person of any age to your membership, you will first need to complete your application and settle your membership payment.
  • You will then receive an email welcoming you to the AV member community, and further information about the steps involved to add people to your membership group.

Payment / Renewal Options

  • We have three payment options available: PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer via an invoice.
  • Renewal options include auto-renew (requires PayPal) or one-year (PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer).
  • If you don't have a PayPal account, you will have the option to create one during this process via the PayPal website if you would like to. 
  • For memberships which have a manual renewal, you will receive a renewal invoice each year via email.
    You are welcome to settle this via any of the three methods mentioned above.
