Neurodivergent Professionals Network

AV are excited to announce that we are seeking expressions of interest for the AV Neurodivergent Professionals Network, a new interest group for neurodivergent-identifying adults who are, or have previously worked in, professional roles and who are:

• Keen to connect with other ND professionals and share their stories and experiences in a safe and understanding space;
• Excited to support and leverage the talents of this awesome community and help one another rise together;
• Passionate about identifying and instigating positive social impact for the ND community; and
• Interested to change the narrative around how neurodivergence is perceived in the workplace and beyond.

We are seeking input from our community to help us make this group a reality.

Eligibility

You must meet all of these criteria to be eligible to participate in the network beyond the first session.

• You identify as Aspergers or autistic (self-diagnosed welcome).
• You are a current AV member.
• You are aged 18 or older.
• You are or have previously worked in a professional role.

This Expression of Interest and the first session is open to AV members and non-members, however only current AV members will be able to participate in the group beyond the first session.

How can I be involved?

You will have the opportunity to tell us how you would like to be involved in this group. You can select as many of the below three options as you would like to.

• Join the co-design committee to share your views for the group setup, format, and activities / discussion topics (open to AV members aged 18+ only)
• Volunteer as the Group Leader or Group Assistant
• Receive updates about the group when it is established

What happens next?

After you add your name to the Expression of Interest, you will receive a confirmation email to let you know that your registration has been successful. When we have more information about the first session of the group, we will contact you to let you know.
