Adults Hub: In-Person meeting
About the Adults Group
Our Adults Group is for older members of the Aspergers autistic community and those with other similar neurodivergent profiles. It is more suitable for those who are aged 35 years and over, although younger adults are welcome to join in. (Young adults may prefer to attend our Young Adults group meetings as well as or instead of this group.)
About our Group Leaders
This session is facilitated by the Adults Group Leader, Colin. All AV volunteer group leaders share the lived experience of their group participants and welcome new attendees. All AV group leaders have a Working with Children Check.
Cost: $10 for AV members, $15 for non-members, FREE for +Groups membership holders.
Become an AV member today to access discounted tickets for groups and events, members-only programs, and to support all the wonderful work our volunteers and staff team do for our community.
If you are attending an AV group for the first time, you are welcome to register for free using our first-time attendee ticket. Please email our AV admin team to access this.
If cost is a barrier, please contact Jenni.

Anyone wishing to attend an AV activity must register before attending.
For in-person events, this allows us to ensure that we have enough volunteers attending on the night to support the group, and to ensure that the venue can safely accommodate all attendees.
In the event that the activity is cancelled or transferred to an online meeting, we will only be able to let you know if you have registered.
If there are no spaces available and you would like to attend, click “Join Waitlist”.
If the activity is fully booked, no further attendees can register at the moment. If you would like to be notified if a space becomes available, please click "Join Waitlist" to add your name to the waitlist. In the event that a space becomes available, you will receive an email with further information.
Attending in-person activities at AV
AV is closely following the COVID-19 requirements outlined by the Victorian Government and our in-person events have changed to comply with these.
Attendees at in-person AV activities will need to comply with the venue’s COVIDSafe requirements in place on the day. This may include checking in using the venue’s QR code on arrival, providing proof of vaccination for all attendees aged 12 and older, maintaining physical distance of 1.5 metres or wearing a fitted face mask if this is not possible. Tea and coffee may be available, and we ask that you bring your own reusable mug or water bottle.
For assistance or more information, please contact us.
If you have questions about the event, about AV, or need assistance with registering, please contact our AV admin team
