Adults Hub: Social Night
About the Adults Group
Our Adults Group is for older members of the Aspergers autistic community and those with other similar neurodivergent profiles. It is more suitable for those who are aged 35 years and over, although younger adults are welcome to join in. (Young adults may prefer to attend our Young Adults group meetings as well as or instead of this group.)
Where there is a fifth Thursday in the month, the Adults Group meets on that evening to have a social evening, typically at a hospitality venue. This event is a more informal chat and an opportunity for participants to enjoy a drink, a meal, and a chat at a restaurant or cafe.
We will be meeting at a hospitality venue in the Hawthorn area. Our meeting this month starts at 6.30pm instead of the usual 7.30pm so that anyone who would like to has the opportunity to order a meal. The venue location, accessibility information, transport, and the menu will be shared in the event registration confirmation email.

Do I need to register?
All attendees to AV's online and in-person groups and events must register before attending. For Zoom meetings, you need to register to access the Zoom details. For in-person meetings, registration is required due to DHHS COVID contact tracing requirements.
What can I expect when I attend an AV COVIDSafe event?
AV is closely following the COVID-19 requirements outlined by the Victorian Government and our in-person events have changed to comply with these.
Restrictions in Victoria have changed as of 19 November 2021, and we recommend reading this information sheet issued by the Victorian Government. It outlines the current DHHS requirements at venues for attendees, including checking in, vaccination, distancing, and masks.
If you have questions about the event, about AV, or need assistance with registering, please contact our AV admin team: call 0480 385 710 or email us.
