Parents & Carers Community Connection:
This is an online peer support meeting open to all parents and carers of Aspergers / autistic children, teens or adults to meet, chat, exchange ideas and find support.
For October, as we can't currently meet in person, we are combining the three Parents & Carers groups into one online group. This month, we have a special guest, Monique Poppelaars, joining us from 8.30pm to talk to us about reflexology and how this may benefit and support our general wellbeing. You are welcome to join us for the general discussion from 7.30pm and stay for the reflexology session, or you can choose to join for one or the other.
This session will be facilitated by the Group Leader, Jenny: email@example.com.
All AV volunteer group leaders share the lived experience of their group participants and welcome new attendees. All AV group leaders have a Working with Children Check.
We also have two Parents & Carers groups meeting in person (when COVID restrictions in Melbourne allow us to).
Our North-East group meets monthly in the Eltham area: firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Southern group meets monthly in the Hampton area: email@example.com
Cost: $5 for AV members , $10 for non-members.
Become an AV member today to access discounted tickets for groups and events, other members-only programs, and to support all the wonderful work our volunteers and staff team do for our community.
If you are attending an AV group for the first time, you are welcome to register for free using our first-time attendee ticket. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to access this.
If cost is a barrier, please contact Carla: email@example.com.
Do I need to register?
All attendees to AV's online and in-person groups and events must register before attending. For Zoom meetings, you need to register to access the Zoom details. For in-person meetings, registration is required due to DHHS COVID contact tracing requirements and venue capacity limits.

What is Zoom?
