Women & NB folk - In-Person Meeting

Our Inclusive Women's & NB Group is a great place to connect with other Aspergers/autistic women and NB folk to chat about your experiences, share ideas, exchange advice, and support each other. You are also welcome to attend our Adults Group or our Young Adults Group, or all three!

This session is facilitated by our Women's & NB Group Leader, Barbara: women@aspergersvic.org.auAll AV volunteer group leaders share the lived experience of their group participants and welcome new attendees. All AV group leaders have a Working with Children Check.

Do I need to register?

All attendees to AV's online and in-person groups and events must register before attending. For Zoom meetings, you need to register to access the Zoom details. For in-person meetings, registration is required due to DHHS COVID contact tracing and venue capacity limits. When your registration is complete, you will receive a QR code that you will need to bring with you on the day on your phone or as a printout to access the meeting.

Cost: $10 for AV members, $15 for non-members. If you are attending an AV group for the first time, you are welcome to attend for free. Please email admin@aspergersvic.org.au to access this.

If cost is a barrier, please contact Carla: gm@aspergersvic.org.au

What can I expect when I attend an AV COVIDSafe event?

AV is closely following DHHS COVID-19 requirements and our in-person events have changed to comply with these. We encourage you to read our AV COVIDSafe plan before you attend in-person events at AV in 2021. This includes important information about our QR code check-in system and what you need to bring with you to an event.

As the venue capacity is reduced and spaces are limited, please register if you would like to attend to ensure you don't miss out. Please note that DHHS advice may change and we will do our best to communicate any changes in AV COVID-19 policy to our community.

If you have questions about registration, our COVIDSafe policy or would like more information: contact Jenni (AV Admin) via admin@aspergersvic.org.au
