Where Do You Go for Help?
Come and join with like-minded Aspergers adults, for our monthly discussion meeting. This month topic is: Topic: "Where Do You Go for Help?”
Although we all like to live independently, there are times when we need to ask for help. To quote from the movie “Ghostbusters”: “Who you gonna call?” Whether it be to fix a leaking tap or broken hot water service, how to cook a certain dish, mend a friendship, or sort out Centrelink or the NDIS, there will be times when all of us need some assistance. In this discussion, we will share problems people have had or are having and where you did (or might) turn for effective help in addressing the problems.”
This group is for our older Adult peer group attendees. It is more suitable for those who are aged 35 years and over, although younger adults may still attend if they wish to. (Young adults may prefer to attend the other younger adult meetings: see our event list).
This Group is for Aspergers Victoria members and has been meeting up on the 3rd Thursday of each month across each year for some time. If you are not a member you can come for one session and pay more - or join here and enjoy our member price as well as other member value and benefits as part of our community.
