Term 4 2024 - Program Details

Get ready for more D&D questing, adventuring, and fun with your DMs in our upcoming activities!

In Term 4 2024, players can choose from 12 different groups

Compare groups, check your schedule, chat with your D&D friends, and find the group that best suits you.

  • Priority registrations for Term 4 2024 open on Monday 16 September
  • Registrations will be open to everyone on Monday 23 September

To register or for more information:

Please visit the pages linked below to register or for more information about that group, including dates, times, fees, character sheets, campaign profiles, and information about the Dungeon Masters.

Note: if your player will be aged 17 in their first session, please register them for an under 18 group. This is important for AV's continued commitment to Child Safety.

Spring School Holiday Program

Each group runs for four sessions each Monday and Wednesday over the two weeks of the Spring School Holidays (Monday 23 September to Friday 4 October)

D&D Groups - Term 4

The first session of each online group will be in the week starting Monday 14 October.

The last session of each online group will either be in the week starting Monday 9 December.

Group prices vary depending on the number of sessions for each group: some groups will have fewer sessions due to public holidays.

Workshops

Our popular D&D Workshops are back for Term 3, and we have two types of workshops available:

Introduction Workshop pair (includes 2 sessions)

  • Wednesday 2 August and Wednesday 9 August, 10-17 year old players
    • Open to members and non-members aged 10 to 17 years
    • Designed for players new to D&D or who have never played before.
    • In the first session, DMs give players an overview of the game including gameplay basics and character creation.
    • In the second session, practice what you've learned and apply your skills in a one-shot session with an experienced DM.

"How to DM" Workshop (includes 1 session)

Player Documents

Many players and families have similar questions about AV's D&D Program, so our admin team and DMs have put together some documents to help you find answers to your questions as quickly as possible.

If you still need more information or have questions, please contact our AV Admin team.

We look forward to questing with you!

Groups fill quickly - what to do if the group you want is already fully booked

Our D&D program is really popular with our community. Spaces fill quickly so register as soon as possible if you are interested.

As the D&D group size is limited to six players, we are unable to add further spaces in existing groups.

However, if the group you are interested in is already fully booked, you have a few options.

  • Consider another group for that term: If there is another group which suits your age group and schedule, we recommend registering for that group instead to ensure you have a space for this term.
  • If there are no other available groups which suit you schedule, we invite you to complete our AV D&D Player Waiting List Survey. This is for players who would like to join the AV D&D program in the upcoming term and who are unable to find a space in a group for their age group at a time that suits them. For more information, please visit the survey link.
  • Please consider other players before registering for multiple groups: the program is really popular and there are limited spaces, so registering for more than one group means that another player may miss out.
