Teens Hub: BBQ, Fire Pit & Board Games

****New Night...1st Friday of the Month****


Come and join us for at the Power Neighbourhood House, Ashwood.  We will be keeping warm around an outside fire, toasting marshmallows, having a BBQ, listening to music and enjoying a chat together. Play board games inside or relax in our chill out room.  Sausages (vegan options too) and drinks will be provided. Meet our Aspie mentors who love to make everyone feel welcome and part of the group and are always up for a chat. This is a popular group where you can meet new friends and catch up with old buddies, enjoy an environment with no social pressue and have an enjoyable night out. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Parents can enjoy the company of the other parents in a nearby area.  

Cost:  $10 for AV Member, $15 Non-Members  includes BBQ & marshmallows. Please let us know if you are vegetarian/vegan during registration.  Please pay prior to attending with your registration. Email admin@aspergersvic.org.au if you need assistance to do this. No cash on the night please!

Aspergers Victoria volunteers with lived experience run all meetings and welcome new families. All group leaders have a Working With Children Check.  Refer to our Groups page for more information. 

Our Teen group peer leaders are very encouraging and welcoming with their peers. Please introduce any new teens to our Leaders on the night. 

This group is for Aspergers Victoria members. If you are not a member you can come try the group and then join Aspergers Victoria at https://aspergersvic.org.au/join-us

Please Note:  A parent or carer must stay at the venue.  

Getting There: If driving, free parking is available in surrounding streets.  By Public Transport:  Take the train to Holmesglen station and walk about 6 minutes to the venue. There is also a route 624 Oakleigh bus that stops right out the front of the house.
