Aims and Objectives

Aspergers Victoria (formerly ASSN Vic) is a not for profit charity organisation established in 1991 by a group of parents of those with Asperger Syndrome.  We seek to provide support, a forum for discussion and education for those caring for, or living with Asperger Syndrome within Victoria. We are a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
 
Aspergers Victoria receives only a very small amount of government funding and relies on membership fees to provide its services. 

With over 400 members in Victoria, we provide a wide variety of services including:  a telephone information line (03) 9845 2766, a quarterly newsletter, regular support meetings, seminars and library resources with plenty of information about the condition.

  • Provide a resource library
  • Maintain a register of professionals familiar with Asperger Syndrome
  • Maintain links with other associations

 

We are registered as a Deductible Gift Recipient with the Australian Taxation Office and can supply tax receipts for donations over $2.  Please click here to go to our Donate page.
